Church Girls @ Knitting Factory

Church Girls
@ Knitting Factory
Brooklyn, NY - August 20, 2015

Philadelphia's Church Girls made the trip up the pike to a play to a strong sized crowd on a Summer Thursday, some 8 months after their first New York show at Pianos. With clever lyrics and increasingly (exponentially so) polished hooks, the band is on the make. And they work hard. Word has it that the drummer had to be back at the office in Philly at 6 AM the next day while this old hack was able to go to the show only by negotiating a sleep-in and a late arrival at Uncle Sugar.
