The legendary Alejandro Escovedo spruced up the Big Apple BBQ Block Party with his Sensitive Boys doing what he does best: Cowpunkish "Alt Country". Newer songs like "Anchor" and "Man of the World" stood out among the Texas-through-to-California Norte Americana Rock n Roll that Mr. E has finessed, culminating in a rendition of "All the Young Dudes" that scarily sounded like the Mott the Hoople recording writ large (how did they do that?!)
