Steampunk in the New York Times

Behold! Gotham's most important periodical of record (now that the Tribune-World-Herald bit the dust), has a profile of New Yorkers adopting the steampunk style for entertainment and fashion. The fashion appears to be a bit much (frankly, anything smacking of any effort is always a bit much), but of all the things for people to dawdle about, this has to be the least offensive, most pleasant of subcultures.

Inter-hypernet linkage to the reportage by one Ruth La Ferla of the New York Times
