New AC/DC Album This Year

The official word came today via e-mail:

The boys have been holed up in a Vancouver studio with producer Brendan O'Brien and longtime audio engineer Mike Fraser, cooking up their first collection of new material since the 2000 release of Stiff Upper Lip.

Perhaps this will be the long awaited acoustic pop ballad album...

...yeah right...


Brian Johnson on some morning radio show a few weeks ago. The show fools (lord those FM morning voices are awful) made reference to something called Totally Baked. The sentiment seems right though the actual comedy seems pretty bad. Brian's songs are not exactly the greatest, but they are interesting to hear if only because he's definitely trying to preserve his voice. Could the next AC/DC record be full of bluesy, controlled, calm, vocals?

Last check, Brian is STILL working on his stage musical for Helen of Troy. That's no joke.
